Gooding & Company, based at Santa Monica in the US, is one of the world’s leading auction houses in the classic car market. They commissioned MindWorks to provide them with a professional European photography and film hub service in the UK that they would use for publicity and marketing.
Our first assignment showcased two beautiful vintage automobiles in a classic rural English setting. We used a mixture of car-to-car tracking shots and drone photography to clearly display the cars’ elegant lines, engine detail, manoeuvrability and performance as they purred along open country lanes. The footage from a full day’s shoot was cut down to the required 1-minute promo piece to go out across their social channels. We have also illustrated the cars’ incredible provenance by cutting in historic photos in the post-edit, added SFX and a music bed.

Our most recent assignment was photographing at the world-famous Retromobile event in Paris and we look forward to many more exciting projects in the months ahead.
