Lewis Brownlee, a growing regional accountancy firm, required MindWorks to bring greater structure and direction across their marketing activity.
While the business benefited from strong brand awareness and referral-driven growth, marketing activity was largely ad hoc and unaligned to a clear strategy. There was also a disconnect between the firm’s advisory expertise and how it was perceived externally. Our objective was to define a clear marketing strategy, improve consistency, increase the quality and volume of enquiries and enhance the position of the firm as an advisory-led partner.
We worked closely with the Lewis Brownlee team to implement a more structured, insight-led marketing approach. This began with a full-day strategy session for senior stakeholders, establishing clear positioning, priority audiences and a focused growth plan aligned to commercial objectives.
We then planned and delivered campaign activity across multiple channels, including expo campaigns, webinar support and follow-up communications designed to generate leads and improve conversion. Content was developed across email, social media and blog platforms to create a consistent and engaging brand presence.
We also strengthened the firm’s CRM and data, restructuring Mailchimp audienes, improving segmentation and ensuring GDPR alignment, alongside cleansing and consolidating contact data to enable more targeted communications.
Creative support included the development of advertising assets, editorial content and refreshed email templates, while ongoing strategic guidance covered sponsorship opportunities, lead generation tools and marketing investment decisions, all with a clear focus on ROI and long-term growth.
Campaign planning, CRM optimisation and content marketing to drive lead generation and brand positioning
The project achieved a clear, actionable marketing strategy aligned to business goals, shifting the firm from reactive activity to a more structured, campaign-led approach.
Improved data organisation has enabled more effective targeting and communication, while stronger alignment between internal teams and marketing activity has created a cohesive and consistent output.
These foundations are now supporting ongoing growth, with campaign-led activity continuing to roll out across channels, supported by Google Ads for sustained lead generation, a structured content programme across web, email and social, and ongoing website optimisation to improve conversion.
