AI: the tool in your marketing armoury

February 12, 2025

If we told you this blog was written by AI, would that change how you feel about it? Well, it isn’t, but have a look at the following taglines (the header text that you read as soon as you open a company’s website). Consumer psychology podcast, nudgepodcast.com, recently tested real and AI-generated text used by four US companies with top marketers at a conference – 68% of the marketers asked spotted the AI-generated copy. Can you?

AI has been one of the tools we’ve all used for years – customer service chatbots, voice services Alexa and Siri, scheduling social media posts, managing email campaigns, predictive text and recommended algorithms on streaming platforms. Yes, it’s more advanced now and with the inception of Generative AI, creating content and visuals has never been easier. But it’s still just that: a tool. Its real value isn’t about cutting corners; for us it’s about working smarter and allowing us to focus on higher-level thinking and creative strategy to support our clients.

While AI can’t replace human creativity, critical thinking, or the ability to connect with an audience on an emotional level, what AI can do is handle the repetitive stuff – proofreading, data analysis, transcribing meeting notes – so there’s more time to focus on strategy, storytelling, and big-picture thinking.

Proofreading and editing

AI tools are great for spotting typos, grammar mistakes and clunky sentences, as well as, checking for tone consistency.

New angles

AI can pull in current trends and topics that are relevant to the industry sector we’re working on, sparking campaign ideas.

Social media

Suggested captions or hashtags based on what’s trending can speed up the process (while you still, importantly, maintain your brand’s voice and personality).

Visual content

Using generative AI for design, quick mockups and images gives designers creative prompts and options to build on.

Data analysis and insights

Marketing is as much about understanding data as it is about crafting messages. Using AI to quickly analyse large datasets helps us to track campaign performance, understand customer behaviours and provide actionable insights based on personalisation at scale.

A pixel-art style illustration of a retro computer window with a poll asking, "Can human intelligence be replaced by artificial?" Two buttons labeled "YES" and "NO" are displayed. Above the window, text reads, "It’s our people that really make the difference." The background features a mix of vibrant purple, orange, and blue colors with pixelated design elements.

For us, while we’re excited about how AI is helping us work smarter, it’s our people that really make the difference. Our highly skilled team help you build strong strategies and campaigns that highlight your brands, making them memorable and, well, remarkable. That human creativity and emotional connection created by someone invested in a brand just can’t be replicated.
