Maddy's Mark

Maddy’s Mark is a charity founded in memory of Maddy Lawrence, dedicated to promoting rugby for young women and supporting positive mental health and wellbeing. Led by her parents, Simon and Karen Lawrence, the charity needed a website that truly reflected Maddy’s vibrant spirit while providing an accessible and engaging platform for its supporters.

We knew how important it was to get this right – not just to build a website, but to create a space that honoured Maddy’s legacy. Our goal was to represent her energy, her love for rugby, and the impact she had on those around her. We also recognised that this was an emotional journey for the Lawrence family, so we guided them through the process with care and support at every step.

We collaborated closely with Simon and Karen, beginning with a strategy workshop to align with their goals and audiences. Our team:

Conducted a detailed audit of the existing site and competitor analysis.
Developed user personas to shape an intuitive navigation and content structure.
Designed multiple creative concepts reflecting the charity’s mission and visual identity.
Built a mobile-first, WordPress-powered website with integrated donation functionality, resource directories, and social media connectivity.
Ensured accessibility compliance, security, and SEO optimisation to drive engagement.
Provided hands-on training for the Maddy’s Mark team to manage content effortlessly.
